We have had many different caravan awnings in our years of owning a caravan and throughout that time we have come across a lot of tips and stories about how best to get your caravan awning erected quickly. Stop right there, let me tell you there is no quick way of doing this and when you try try it soon becomes a nightmare. New caravanners have been know to take over 4 hours with their awnings fiddling with poles, reading instruction and desperately trying not to lose their temper.
The worse thing about erecting a caravan awning is we all know everyone happily sitting in their caravan, or worse awning, are all watching and although they would love to help, watching the newbie try and figure this stuff out is just to damn funny.
